Sierra Canyon Day Camp believes that the camp experience begins the moment that our campers get on the bus in the morning. Therefore, we strive to make the bus trip as enjoyable as possible. Our buses are each staffed with a bus counselor who greets the campers both in the morning and in the afternoon. Our counselors also help your campers find their way around camp when they arrive.
Our Transportation system is provided by First Student. All of their drivers are highly trained, qualified professionals who comply with the Federal and State Department of Transportation regulations and Board of Education requirements. All of our buses are equipped with seatbelts and have air conditioning.
Bus Rates:
$25 a day per camper for one way service
$30 a day per camper for round trip service
For the first few days, we will ask to see your ID when picking up campers from the bus until we are familiar with you and your campers. We will compare the ID with the shuttle authorization form to ensure that your campers are going home with an authorized adult. If another person will be picking up your campers from the bus please notify the Transportation Office before 2pm at 818-882-8121 ext 181.
Extended Day Care (EDC)
Sierra Canyon is pleased to offer supervision beyond our regular day camp hours of 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. There’s no extra charge for supervision from 9:00am to 9:30am and 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
Campers enrolled in the Extended Day Program can take advantage of even longer supervision for each day they attend camp. Just request this service when completing your child’s registration.

New for 2026, Water Pass Wednesday
Water Pass Wednesdays extend the summer camp day by giving your children more time to enjoy what they love most. Open to campers of all ages, this Wednesday-only after camp program is designed to add extra water fun while providing families with added midweek flexibility.
Each Wednesday from the end of the camp day until 4:45 p.m., campers participate in fully supervised swim and water activities at our inflatable water park or swimming pools. It is a fun and safe way for children to cool off and finish their day with over an hour of extended water play time.
Water Pass Wednesdays are available for $40 per day, with limited space. Campers enrolled in the program may stay for extended day care until 6:00 p.m. at no additional charge. After the water activities, children will change back into their regular clothes and enjoy time in our air conditioned arcade from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
To ensure a smooth and safe transition, Water Pass campers will be available for dismissal line pickup beginning at 5:00 p.m. Parents who wish to pick up earlier are welcome to park and walk in with their dismissal pass.
Water Pass Wednesdays offer a refreshing way to extend the camp experience while giving parents peace of mind and children extra summer fun midweek.
